Desi Khand, also known as Cane Sugar, Raw sugar or Khandsari sugar is a cottage sugar which is natural and unrefined sugar obtained from Khandsari Sugar Factories. Khand or Khandsari is brownish in color and sweet in taste which is obtained from the sugarcane in Uttar Pradesh or parts of Madhya Pradesh in India. Desi Khand is the unprocessed cane sugar which is prepared naturally and is not chemically treated. Unlike White sugar which is boiled and bleached thoroughly, Village Fresh Indian Khand is not bleached and is free from all kind of additives.
